Lots of Important News

Ok, I have a bunch of news regarding the home release of DOTM and other things.  Let's get started!

First of all, here is a video review from Richard Roeper on TF3.  Please disregard everything he says about the movie and his childish behavior (ironically comments can no longer be left on the video) and listen closely when he says that there will be three minutes of extra footage on the Blu-Ray and DVD.  We will know for sure tomorrow, but the anticipation is killing me!  Click 'read more' for more amazing news!

Possible TF4 Villian

TF3 spoilers below, so do not continue if you haven't seen TF3.
(This post is complete speculation and not a rumor or fact.)

Transformers 4, 5 and 6 will happen and TF4 will not be a reboot.  This was confirmed by producer Don Murphy.  The only questions are: Will Bay, Shia and the rest of the cast come back?  Will half of the cast come back?  Will the trilogy be continued with brand new characters?  Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave are all dead and I can't see Unicron in live action.  There has to be a main villian in TF4, so who could it be?  I have come to a conclusion of who it should be (and don't laugh at me): Igor.  Igor should be the main villian in TF4.  His master has been killed and he wants his revenge on Optimus.  He finds some great power (something like the All Spark or Matrix) and grows to the size of the normal transformers (kind of like Frenzy in TF1).  On the last page of the TF3 comic, Igor is shown with a sad look on his face and says, "Master?"  At the bottom it says 'The end?' and not 'The end."  Yes, I know, TF comics have not been very accurate to the movies, but what if Bay told the writer to put that in there?  So, that's my opinion.  I would also include Thundercracker and Skywarp to go along with Igor.  Who do you think it should be?

Comic News, Behind the Scenes of TF1

TFW2005 has posted a preview of Transformers: Foundation #4 on their site.  The comic is due out in stores today.  Also, the movie adaptation comic is set for a release of May 25th.

Industrial Light and Magic has posted two videos that gives us a behind the scenes look of the making of Transformers 2007.  The CGI was amazing back then and of course, it will even be better in Dark of the Moon.  Check out the videos below.

Blue Mercedes is Wheeljack?

[Possible Spoilers]
Transformers Live Action Movie Blog has noticed on an unofficial Transformers Facebook page a possible hint that the blue Mercedes is indeed Wheeljack.  The picture on the left shows a shadow of Wheeljack in the Rising Storm comic and on the right is a screenshot of possibly Wheeljack in the theatrical trailer.  A similarity between the two I've noticed is the left shoulder (from your view).  In the Rising Storm comics Wheeljack is badly injured and Ratchet says he can fix him but he won't be the same, so how he looks will not be the same from the comic to the movie.
UPDATE: My mistake- The comic picture is from the DOTM comic adaptation, not Rising Storm.

Transformers DOTM Comic Adaptation Preview

Amazon now has a preorder listing for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Comic Adaptation.  It is due out on May 25.  If you wish to see a few pages of the comic, click "search inside this book" right underneath the cover art.  There are Major Spoilers according to what I have heard.  I have not read the preview pages
because I don't want to spoil the movie for myself, but I was looking at the artwork and it looks amazing.  I would post a couple of pages on here but they are copyrighted.
Update:  The "search inside this book" link has been removed from Amazon.  They probably were not allowed to show major scenes from the movie.
