Grimlock Robot Design Leaked?

It seems like the design for Grimlock might have been leaked due to this crew member's hoodie. Only time will tell if this is the real deal. Stay tuned.

Dino Spotted in Hong Kong

The Italian Transformer might be returning for Transformers 4 after all. After being absent from any public filming, a red Ferrari (with a racing stripe I might add), has been spotted with the other Autobots after being transported to Hong Kong. The voice actor for Dino sadly passed away shortly after DOTM's release, so if the character was to return, I'd expect a non-speaking role. On the other hand, they could always find another Italian actor with a similar voice. What do you think? Is this car going to be Dino? Sound off below!

 

First Look at Dinobots and a Decepticon?

Thanks to cmraseye we have a possible first look at what looks to be a Decepticon in my opinion (although it could be an Autobot) as well as the Dinobots. Take a glance below at how it seems like all 5 Dinobots might appear in Age of Extinction. Also as a side note, I will not be posting as many spy photos from TF4 filming due to emails I'm getting from Paramount Pictures to take down stuff I post. So to stay on the safe side I will for the most part be showing those on my YouTube channel.

Possible Transformers 4 Titles

Three web domains have been registered that could be possible titles for Transformers 4 according to Fusible.com. MarkMonitor, the registrar for the Transformers 4 official website registered the names Transformers: Apocalypse, Transformers: Last Stand, and Transformers: Future Cast on August 28th.

Abigail Klein is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. She began acting in 2009. She has appeared in one episode each of The Young and the Restless, 90210, Disney's Pair of Kings, CSI and Drop Dead Diva. She also played a bridesmaid in That's My Boy.

TF4 in Chicago: Photos, Mysterious Artifact and Dinobots?

Filming for Transformers 4 has begun in Chicago. The city will represent China in the film. Also, michaelbay.com has released the first official photo from filming. It includes Bay himself, Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor among some crew members. The interesting thing is the giant pyramid-like object. What could that possibly be? The last piece of news for today is a rumor stemming from a tip received by SuperHeroHype. Supposedly, scenes that were shot today involved Dinobots, but of course there is no way to confirm that. Ratchet Spotted, Videos and More

In this post I'll be reviewing some of the Transformers 4 related news that has happened in the past week. First off, the DOTM version of Ratchet's vehicle mode has been spotted in Michigan. What's interesting is that it's really dirty, so I doubt it's for any type of car show. Could it be there for Transformers 4 filming? Also below you can see some more videos and photos from filming in Michigan. In one of the videos you will see what looks to be one of the spaceships from DOTM. Also the Cadillac and Buick have been spotted again. No word on if they will be background props or Transformers. Finally, the role of Victoria Summer is being said to be kept under wraps, which leads some to believe her character might be crucial to the plot.

TF4: First Look at Hound's Face

It seems like the heads on sticks have popped up again on-set for Transformers 4 as well. The heads used for filming have shown us previews of new characters from the last two movies, especially during TF3 filming. This time we get to see what Hound looks like and I must say.... I don't like it. The face seems like an older looking Transformer with a long beard. He is also smoking a pipe. As a side note, this is not confirmed to be Hound, but only Bumblebee, Hound and the Pagani have been spotted on-set and the most logical guess would be that it is Hound. TF4: VW Beetle Bumblebee!?

Bumblebee might just have a third vehicle form in Transformers 4. A yellow Volkswagen Beetle was spotted on the back of a trailer with the G1 looking Optimus Prime truck. The truck is not confirmed to be Prime, but the truck is almost an exact copy from G1 with the white stripe, plus it has flames. Could the Beetle be Bumblebee, or could it just be an Easter egg like in the first Transformers movie? As a side note, it looks like this video was recorded in Texas.

Wahlberg Talks TF4 Routine and Dinobots

Metro News Canada had an interview with Transformers 4 star Mark Wahlberg and he was pretty tight lipped, but he did mention his character will play a single dad. Below you can see what he had to say about his daily routine while on set.

"I don’t go out at night anymore, so that makes it a lot easier. I go home, I’ll eat dinner, I’ll read the script and prepare for the next day’s work, and go to bed right away. I’ll wake up with a little bit of time to say my prayers, read my prayer book, maybe do a little workout, and then get back at it. And then steal a cat nap whenever I can during the work day — but (‘Transformers’ director) Michael (Bay), once he starts working, he doesn’t like to stop."

In another interview with MTV, Wahlberg was asked about the Dinobots. Many are thinking his answers hinted towards their appearance, but I don't really see anything we can speculate about.

"None of your business. You don't want me to get replaced halfway through production for divulging secrets".

"It feels like a completely different movie, very fresh. Obviously, it's a really interesting dynamic, being a young, single dad having a teenage daughter, trying to succeed as an inventor, having very little means and also trying to provide for my family. Then all hell breaks loose."

TF4 Rumors and Speculation

It's time to catch up on the recent news from yesterday and the day before. Well, it's not really news, but more like rumors. First of all, the China set in Detroit is looking more and more like China, but the really interesting thing is the giant blue object. The color indicated that it will be substituted for some CGI and it's there just to make things easier on the actors. What could this thing be is a big question. My guess is some type of ship, but I honestly really have no idea.

Secondly, I have word from an anonymous person who had a conversation with Transformers 4 crew members that were transporting the cars that the Bugatti's name is Drift, like previously rumored, and the Corvette is Sunstreaker (previously rumored to be Slingshot). They did tell me that the names are not finalized but it seems like those will most likely be the names.

Rumor: Gregg Berger Voicing TF4 Grimlock?

Last week at Florida Supercon in Miami, Gregg Berger, the G1 and Fall of Cybertron voice of Grimlock, had a Q&A session with the fans in attendance. Not surprisingly, someone asked him if he was asked to voice Grimlock in Transformers 4 if he would. After a couple of humerous comments on how Grimlock would've shortened the previous movies by the use of his tail as a weapon, he said something quite interesting:

"I will bring justice to the character, you'll see."

That definitely sounds like he's voicing Grimlock. Take this as only a rumor for now though considering there is no footage of this (it was just conveyed by word of mouth). Thanks to Citricon for the info.

Transformers 4 Teaser Trailer Next Friday? (UPDATE, No Trailer)

UPDATE: Nelson was apparently being sarcastic. No trailer on July 12th.
Nelson, admin of Michael Bay's official forum has possibly just dropped some huge information on us today. When asked about a trailer for Transformers 4, he actually answered: "Next week Friday". A forum member suggested he was joking, but I pointed out that he would not joke around with something like that since it could be plastered around the internet very quickly, which could get him in trouble. So, in my opinion, this is true, and we should be getting a small, quick teaser trailer on July 12th.

TF4: Argosy Freightliner Truck

A new vehicle has been revealed by Michael Bay Dot Com. This truck is a 2014 Argosy cab-over by Freightliner. The color of the lights seem to point towards an Autobot, but there is a lot more than meets the eye with this photo. I'm almost positive that it's photoshopped with the colors of the truck being removed as to not easily give away the identity of the Transformer. By looking at the truck's surroundings, you can see that everything is black and white. The only true colors in this photo are the blue lights. To add to the mystery, let's take a look at a Twitter conversation between a fan and S4TE admin, Nelson:

Update: This truck has been spotted on-set and that is indeed the color.

New TF4 Cars Spotted

More cars have been spotted on the Transformers 4 set in Michigan. They are not in the movie for a fact, but they were seen around the set earlier today and would seem very out of place anywhere else. The group included a white Ferrari 458 Italia, a darkish colored Buick Velite convertible concept, a silver Cadillac Cien, and a blue Aston Martin Vanquish. These could all be Transformers, they could all be set pieces, or they could be a mixture of both. As a small side note, Bumblebee was also spotted on-set. TF4 Will Not Destroy Chinese Landmarks

A short time ago, I reported that Transformers 4 will involve the destruction of some famous Chinese landmarks, including a hotel, the National Stadium and the National Aquatics Center. Now it seems like it's only a rumor. CRI English is reporting that the destruction of these structures is not set in stone and Michael Bay is the only one that will make the decisions. It was not part of the agreement with Jiaflix Enterprises that these buildings were required to be destroyed.

"Pangu Plaza is an extraordinary and iconic building that will make a memorable visual in the movie, especially set against the beautiful National Stadium, National Aquatic Center and Olympic Green that invited the world to Beijing in 2008," Ganis continued. "How this unique building is presented will be entirely up to Michael and his exceptional team. There is nothing in the (Pangu Plaza) agreement that relates to any other facilities or the Transformers 4 storyline."

TF4 Title Rumors Are False... What?

Michael Bay made a post on the S4TE forums saying that the title rumors seen on multiple websites are indeed false. What? What rumors? What title? This makes no sense. After searching the web and finding absolutely no rumored Transformers 4 titles, Nelson, the admin of S4TE, sent me a link to one website that mentioned Transformers: Rise of Galvatron. First of all, this was only one website, not multiple ones. Secondly, I have never even heard of this website before. I don't understand Michael Bay's concern over this. It's interesting that Bay addressed something this miniscule. What do you think about this? Comment below!

TF4: Lucas Black and Human Character Names

By taking a closer look at the photos of the Transformers 4 set taken by Jason Bo, you can notice some interesting details many might not have noticed. One is that in the set of photos, it looks like Lucas Black, who starred in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, is dressed up in a military uniform. Another interesting thing is a photo with the names "Tessa" and "Shane" on a wall. Shane has been seen on the door of the rally car, which could mean that Jack Reynor's character is named Shane. This would leave us to believe that Tessa is the character played by Nicola Peltz. Another photo has two more names on a wall: "Savoy" and "Lucas". Lucas could be a confirmation that that is indeed Lucas Black on the set and Savoy might be the last name of another actor. Possibilities are Suzanne Savoy and Katie Savoy, the only well known actors with that last name.

TF4 Ambulance: Could it be Ratchet?

The ambulance that you can barely see in the Autobot group shot from a while back has reappeared and this time you can clearly tell it is an ambulance that actually resembles Transformers Prime's version of Ratchet. Could it be him? Thanks to Jorge R. for the photo. Also, check out some more photos from filming in Taylor, Texas below from @gametavern. You can see that there is going to be an Easter egg in the movie. Notice how the movie theater has Bad Boys and Pearl Harbor listed on the sign. Both are directed by Michael Bay. What's really interesting is that the number after Bad Boys seems to be a 3. Bay has been rumored to direct a third movie for quite some time.
