New Posters, Art, Trailer Thursday

A couple of posters along with character art have been released in anticipation of this Thursday's trailer which will be released at 12am PST (3am EST) on Apple Trailers.

TF4 Stills, Grimlock Standee

Two movie stills featuring Li Bingbing and Stanley Tucci have been revealed. The images feature the characters of Su Yueming and Joshua during some tense times.

Next we have an awesome looking Grimlock and Optimus Prime cardboard standee that has popped up at numerous movie theaters as well as outside of Paramount Pictures (below). An image with the same look was also posted by the Transformers Facebook page for reaching 30,000,000 likes.

TF4 Huge News Catch-Up

Sorry for the recent delay everyone! Below I will be updating you on everything that has happened in the past couple of weeks regarding Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark.

First of all, Paramount Pictures has released an updated version of the Super Bowl spot with improved CGI, different font and better color grading.


Next, at this year's Cinemacon, Transformers 4 stars Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz both won the male and female Rising Stars award. Roughly 15 minutes of the film was shown as well. There are descriptions of what was shown, but I will not be reading them or posting them here due to highly spoilerish content.

TF4 Lockdown IMAX Poster

Here is the first IMAX poster for Transformers: Age of Extinction. As you can tell, a lot more of the shot we've already seen is shown due to the IMAX camera that was used.

Li Bingbing Poster

A Chinese styled poster of Li Bingbing as Su Yueming has been released. This is the fifth poster to be released in the past few days.

Optimus Prime Poster

A third character poster has been revealed. This one is of Tessa Yeager played by Nicola Peltz. The trailer will be released online tonight at 7:30pm EST.

Jack Reynor Poster

Right on the heals of the Mark Wahlberg poster we have one of Jack Reynor. Expect one of Nicola Peltz later tonight or tomorrow.

TF4: New Poster, Trailer Tomorrow (UPDATE)

Yahoo! has released the second official poster for Transformers: Age of Extinction. This one features Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager holding the mysterious weapon while Lockdown's ship towers over the rural Texas area. The tagline reads "The Rules Have Changed". Meanwhile, Nelson, webmaster over at S4TE
noted, "Trailer probably coming out tomorrow."

Toy Fair 2014: Designs, Toys and More!

Tons of news coming out of the 2014 UK Toy Fair! Our first small piece of news comes from an inside source that talked to Seibertron.com regarding the name of the Freightliner. It appears that the identity is that of the Autobot Ultra Magnus. Next, we have a leaked image of the design for Lockdown. Not sure if this is a poster or just a piece of promotional artwork, but the design is awesome nonetheless. Some type of smashable head toys have revealed the face design for Crosshairs (the green Corvette) and it appears that he is wearing some type of goggles. Next we have the design for Drift thanks to a Connect 4 board game. Drift wields two swords and matches the leaked costume design from not long ago. After that is our first look at the classic Camaro Bumblebee. The design is quite similar to the previously trilogy other than the fairly intact front end of the Camaro on his chest. Finally, Amazon has put up a pre-order listing for First Edition Optimus Prime at $59.99 US. The figure has chrome point and a pretty neat cover over the box. The toy will be shipped on February 4th if ordered in time. Also don't forget that next Sunday during the Super Bowl, we will be able to witness a TV spot for Transformers Age of Extinction! Can't wait!

TF4 in Empire Magazine, Optimus Revealed

Behold! The new Optimus Prime! Optimus, Mark Wahlberg (Cade), Nicola Peltz (Tessa) and Jack Reynor (Shane) are all featured on the cover of January's issue of Empire Magazine. I must say, I'm digging the design! Thanks to Rayshawn and Nicholas for the heads up.

TF4: Age of Extinction Poster, UK Release Date

The first official Transformers: Age of Extinction poster has been revealed! Something to notice is that people in the UK will have to wait until July 10th according to the UK version of the poster.

Mark Wahlberg Signed on for TF4, Plus New Logo

Michael Bay has announced that Mark Wahlberg has signed on to star in Transformers 4 even after he "debunked" the rumors a short while ago. The official statement from his website can be seen be clicking the "read more" link below. A new logo was also released which is very awesome. The left hand side is the number four with half of the Decepticon insignia on the right.

HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 8, 2012) – After an exceptionally successful collaboration on the upcoming "Pain and Gain," Michael Bay has cast Academy Award®-nominee Mark Wahlberg in the highly anticipated “TRANSFORMERS 4.” The film will hit theaters June 27th, 2014.

"Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on “Pain and Gain” and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy,” said Bay.

TF4 Logo Revealed But Not Released to the Public

According to Comingsoon.net, Paramount Pictures has released a new logo for Transformers 4 during a special presentation. The problem is, this logo has not been spotted anywhere on the web, so hopefully someone who attended the presentation will eventually leak the image online.

"The 2014 section kicked off with the next entry of the Transformers franchise. Obviously there was no footage to show, but the title does reveal a clever logo, the right half of the standard transformers symbol acting as the stem of the number four."

New Robot Cast in TF4

At the UBS Best of Americas 2012 Conference, Brian Golder of Hasbro had some interesting news about Transformers 4. He explained that toy sales from DOTM were not as great as they wanted to be and because of this, Transformers 4 will have a brand new cast of robot characters and it will be a story revolving around those new characters. Mr. Golder went on to say that sometimes brands need re-imagining. Below is a TF4 title poster that Hasbro used at the event. What do you think about the brand new Autobot and Decepticon cast?
