TF4 Huge News Catch-Up
Sorry for the recent delay everyone! Below I will be updating you on everything that has happened in the past couple of weeks regarding Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark.
First of all, Paramount Pictures has released an updated version of the Super Bowl spot with improved CGI, different font and better color grading.
Next, at this year's Cinemacon, Transformers 4 stars Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz both won the male and female Rising Stars award. Roughly 15 minutes of the film was shown as well. There are descriptions of what was shown, but I will not be reading them or posting them here due to highly spoilerish content.

3 Minutes of AOE Shown to Kids at Detroit School
Co-producer Allegra Clegg paid a visit to a Detroit area elementary/middle school as part of a campaign from Paramount Pictures that encourages school attendance. A three minute clip was shown to the kids as a part of the presentation (Those lucky little...). Check out this excerpt from The Detroit Hub for more information about the event. That gave them the chance to have Clegg come to the school, talk about how the film was made, career options in the film industry, as well as giving the kids a first look at the next installment in the Transformers franchise, due in theaters June 27, 2014.
The Durfee students were some of the first to check out a three-minute extended clip of the film before anyone, anywhere on the planet. Seeing the clip and talking with the producer was even more special because much of the movie was filmed in Detroit.
"It takes thousands of people to make a movie like Transformers. The entire community has to come together to make it a success," said Clegg. "Detroit and Michigan are great places to shoot a project."
When it came time for questions, the kids started out a little shy, but warmed up quickly. They grilled Clegg on everything from how the film’s robots were named to how she got into the business to how they could get a job in Hollywood and what they needed to study now as elementary and middle schoolers to someday do what she is doing.

TF4 Screening, Toys and More
Hasbro's Annual Investor Day concluded a few hours ago with a bunch of Transformers 4 news attached to it. The biggest thing that came out of it was a special 10 minute screening of part of the movie. The visuals were not done yet, but it gave a glimpse of what is to come. You can see the footage below... I'm just kidding. Unfortunately (and expectedly) no footage of the 10 minute screening could leave the room nor could anyone that was present write or speak about what was seen. Apparently though, everyone in attendance did enjoy the sneak peek and applauded loudly after it was over. Moving on, the Transformers Kre-O toyline will be given the Transformers: Age of Extinction treatment. Also, the audience was teased of future Transformers video games that will be released in 2014. One will most likely be the Age of Extinction game while the other could be War for Cybertron 3.
Later in the day, one of the speakers said a word about Transformers 4:
"In 2014 our great entertainment story continues" said Eric Nyman. "We deliver a full new Transformers story with the release of Transformers 4…. 65 Million Years In The Making. You saw some of the footage this morning. Our great Autobot Heroes team up with... (he didn’t tell who) and defeat new villains and save the earth."
Finally, as a small nod to the Age of Extinction toyline (as well as other future lines), it was briefly discussed that figures will target 4 aspects known as the 4 Point Plan.
-Boys Action
-Construction
-Pre-School
-Gaming & Digitally Integrated Products
