Chevy Sonic Confirmed to be a Transformer

I decided to take a few days off from keeping up the blog, but I am back today with news that the Chevy Sonic RS has been confirmed to be a Transformer in a strange way. Michael Bay Dot Com posted a poll asking which of the revealed Transformers is your favorite so far. In my opinion, it should be "Which vehicle is your favorite" but by using the word "Transformer" and since the Chevy Sonic is an option, this tells us that it is not just Jack Reynor's race car. Optimus Prime is of course in first, followed by the 2014 Camaro, Lamborghini, 1967 Camaro and the Argosy by Freightliner. Click here to cast your vote.

TF4 Poll Results

In the latest poll, you were asked: "Do you like the idea of a new cast for TF4?" It was definitely very close. 51% of you said yes and 48% said you don't want a new cast. Michael Bay has stated that there will be a new cast, but it is unknown as to whether Tyrese Gibson is completely out of the picture. He is making a strong push to get into the fourth movie. More will be known in the coming months.

Fall of Cybertron Poll Results

The results are in from the latest Transformers News poll! The question was: "What part of Fall of Cybertron are you looking forward to the most?" The winner with 54% of the votes was campaign. Multiplayer was second with 34% of the votes, followed by escalation with 11%. A new poll for Transformers 4 will be up shortly and be sure to 'like' the new Transformers News Facebook Page. I figured I should make a new one without "DOTM" in the name. The other Facebook page will still be active for a few months.

TF4 Poll Results

Since it has been kind of hard to tell what direction TF4 is going, I asked you guys what you would rather have: a reboot or continuation of TF3. Rebooting the franchise only received 11% of the votes while continuing from where TF3 left off took 88% of the votes. Thank you for voting and watch out for the next poll!

In the latest Transformers News poll, 90% of you voted that you are very excited for TF4 and 10% voted that you're kind of excited for TF4. There were no votes for negative reactions to the fourth movie. Check back soon for the next poll!

Transformers Huge News Catch Up

I apologize for my recent absense due to a schoolwork overload. I have a many pieces of news for you Transformers fans:

First of all, a Transformers Dark of the Moon Speed Stars Leadfoot has been spotted in some Target stores. I haven't heard much about these lately and they are definitely cool Transformers toys. It's a die cast car (like Hotwheels) and if you stand it up, there is a 3D-like design of the robot mode underneath the car.

Also, Paramount has contacted members of the Transformers Dark of the Moon movie visual effects team to see if they would be available to do a fourth Transformers film if the OK has been given. Paramount has also contacted Michael Bay regarding a return, but no further information is known about that to this point. Check out the interview with Scott Farrar, the visual effects supervisor from TF3, after the jump. While we're on the topic of TF4, there has been speculation that an announcement regarding the possible movie could come on Hasbro's Investors Day on Wednesday, but there has been no official word.

There is also a new commercial promoting the Transformers Prime Darkness Rising DVD release. (seems as if there is no Blu-Ray) It is due out on December 6th although the commercial says that it is available now. Check out the trailer after the jump.

Lastly (and very overdue), are the latest poll results. On the "How would you rate this blog" poll, 86% of you said 4 out of 4 and 13% said 3 out of 4 (Thanks for the positive feedback everyone!) On the "Whose death made you sad the most" poll, Ironhide took the victory with 74%. He was folllowed by Jazz (16%), Que/Wheeljack (6%) and Sentinel Prime (2%). Well, at least one of you felt sorry for Sentinel! :)

The results are in from the two recent Transformers DOTM News polls.  The first one was: Would you be open to Megan Fox and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley both being in TF4?  70% (26 votes) of you said yes and 29% (11 votes) of you said no.  It was actually very close for the first couple of days before there was an abundance of "yes" votes.  The second poll was: When will you be buying DOTM?  62% (22 votes) of you said Semptember 30th.  25% (9 votes) of you said that you are going to buy the 3D or Ultimate Edition in December.  In third place was "soon after the release", which had 11% (4 votes) of the votes.  None of you said that you were never going to buy it.

The results are in! For the question: "Which is your favorite?"  TF3 Highway Battle won with 54% of the votes (20 votes).  It was followed by Final Battle with 32% (12 votes), Forest Battle with 10% (4 votes) and TF1 Highway Battle with 2% (1 vote).  Roadbuster is your favorite Wrecker.  He reeled in 70% of the votes (17 votes).  He was followed by Leadfoot with 20% (5 votes) and Topspin with 8% (2 votes).  Check out the new polls!

The results are in for the recent polls.  The first question was: Do you want a Transformers 4?  100% of you said said yes (33 votes) and 0% said no.  So, I'm going to take a wild guess and assume all of you want TF4.  The second question was: Who should be the TF4 main villian?  Galvatron received 50% of the vote (16 votes), Unicron was second with 37% (12 votes), "Other" received 9% (3 votes) and Igor got only 3% (1 vote).  The next polls will be up soon and if you're a fan of Transformers DOTM News on Facebook, go to the "Questions" tab to vote on the new name for this blog.  You can add your own idea as well.
