Just thought that I'd mention this. I was watching the season premiere of America's Got Talent and the DOTM TV spot, 'Secret', was shown along with many other summer movie TV spots. For another look at it, I have posted the video below.

New Dark of the Moon Photos
TFW2005 has posted some new photos from Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Some are screenshots and some are photos from the set. One that is very interesting is the one with Charlotte and Lennox with Michael Bay sitting down behind them. Is this a pre or post shooting photo or is this a cameo by Michael Bay? Well, we'll find out in a little bit more than 29 days! See more after the jump break.

Red Ferrari not Mirage?
Nelson has stated on the Shoot for the Edit Michael Bay forums that the red Ferrari is not named Mirage. This is quite a surprise knowing that the comic adaptation, novel, junior novels and a toy all have the Ferrari 458 Italia named as Mirage. I actually like the name Mirage and I'm very disappointed to hear this. Nelson said, "All I will say is that he speaks with an Italian accent and is named after a famous Italian." He also points out that the Twins are still in the comic and are not in the movie, so some things are bound to change. Many people think he is lying and this is the misinformation campaign, but what do you think? Comment below and share your opinions.

DOTM Running Time Confirmed
The Official Michael Bay Website has confirmed that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will have a running time of 134 minutes (or 2 hours and 14 minutes). Although it will be shorter than ROTF, that seems like a very good time for the movie. It's not too long and not under 2 hours.

New TV Spots and Video Game Artwork (Updated)
2 new TV spots will be airing worldwide on June 1 according to Nelson of Michael Bay's S4TE forum. They are both called "Birdmen" with one being 15 seconds and the other is 30 seconds. Also, the official Facebook page for DOTM The Game has released some artwork as a reward for reaching 100,000 fans. Take a look below.
Update: Nelson has posted a correction-
I need to issue a correction.
In the US there will be a :60 TV "Birdmen:" ad/featurette that will run once on June 1 on Spike TV.
Then on June 2 we will have an extended "Birdmen" featurette on this site.

DOTM: The Album Songs Confirmed (Updated)
Transformers3Music.com (the official website of the soundtrack and score) has been updated and confirms the track list that we saw yesterday. Now, more excerpts of the songs are available to listen to on the site as well. Also, iTunes and Gamestop both have exclusives when the buy the CD with them. On iTunes, you will get songs by Biffy Clyro, Stone Sour and Serj Tankian and for Gamestop, you will get songs by Middle Class Rut and D.R.U.G.S. The soundtrack will be available on June 14, the same day as Transformers: Dark of the Moon The Game for the PS3, XBOX, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS.
(Note: In my last post I stated that the song by Skillet was probably written incorrectly, but the TF3 Music site says that it is indeed "Alive and Awake" instead of "Awake and Alive". The song is a remix so that is probably the reason for the change.)
Update: The site has changed to song to Awake and Alive.

Also, there is an app in the iTunes store called "My3D Presents" where you can view the new Transformers trailer on your iPod Touch or iPhone for free! Sounds too good to be true right!? Exactly. I downloaded the app and grabbed the 3D glasses I kept from seeing "Pirates" to find out you need to buy the 3D viewer attachment for 35 dollars. You are able to view everything with regular 3D glasses, but to access the 3D content, you need to enter the code found on the side of the 3D viewer.

3D Trailer Screenshots
There are some new screenshots from the 3D trailer that can be found at transformersmovie.eu. There are not as many as there were with the other theatrical trailer, but an image of Optimus vs. Driller is included. There are some screenshots of the two clips we saw as well. Also, some things to note: The Transformers movie official site has updated their release dates page so that all countries now have June 29th listed as the day of release except for China and Japan. And, if you look on the top right of this page, you will see the Dark of the Moon Character List, where I have compiled all of the DOTM characters into one list. Next to the character names, you will see their alt mode and their status for the movie (verified, unverified, rumor).

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Today I went to see Pirates 4 and I was very disappointed. No, it wasn't because of the movie. It was very good with great 3D. It was because the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon trailer was not shown in it's glorious 3D. What was shown was the announcement trailer. Although the 3D looked great in the trailer (especially the part where you go inside Sentinel's eye and the title appears), I was really hoping to see what the movie was going to look like in the third dimension. Although I did not see the trailer, I was able to see the Optimus Prime theatre display in person. That thing is huge! Also, in the parking lot on the way out I saw this awesome Bumblebee Camaro with the Autobot logos and the word "Bumblebee" written on the top of the windshield! So, no trailer for me and hopefully it'll be attached to another movie sometime soon.

The new 3D trailer is now online! There are a few new scenes and a couple of scenes were shortened. My favorite part was the scene where Optimus flies in and starts shooting at The Driller. I'm going to see Pirates 4 tomorrow and I can't wait to see the trailer in 3D!

DOTM Releasing Worldwide June 29th
Here with some amazing news! Transformers: Dark of the Moon has been bumped to a release of June 29th! This will be a worldwide release except for Japan and China. So this means that we can cross off two more days off of the countdown calender. I'm guessing that the poster and banners will have to be re-released with June 29th on them, which also means that I'm going to have to change the title picture on this blog and the posters as well. The only thing that is disappointing to me is that the release date will no longer take place when there is no moon in the sky.

Dark of the Moon Clip Shown on Ellen
On today's Ellen Degeneres Show with Patrick Dempsey, a clip of the movie was shown! Sam, Carly and Dylan are in a bright white building which is probably Dylan's office. There are some expensive, classic cars in the room along with many of Dylan's racing trophies. Dylan starts talking about how much he appreciates Carly and he calls her "The Dutchess". Sam gets jealous and says, "Nicknames, thats fun." It was very short and quick with no robots, but it's new footage we haven't seen before!
Transformers: Dark of the Moon Rated PG-13
We finally have the rating which we pretty much expected. Dark of the Moon has been rated PG-13 according to MPAA. The rating is for: “Intense prolonged sequences of sci-fi action violence, mayhem and destruction, and for language, some sexuality and innuendo.” (Which, again, is pretty much expected)
From TFW2005: “Intense prolonged sequences of sci-fi action violence, mayhem and destruction” refers to the Robot Duels, Baysplosions, Decimated Chicago and the Human Death that takes place throughout the movie. "Language" may refer to the use of swear words in the movie. "Some sexuality and innuendo" may or may not refer to any jokes relating to the subject matter. This portion of the rating may direct towards the scenes with Model/Actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley where… hem hem… AICN describes as “who doesn't need an occasion to dress in the tightest clothes imaginable”. As for “innuendo”… well, Michael Bay once stated, are toned-down jokes rather than what we saw on Revenge of the Fallen.

Transformers Camaro Gas Door Covers
From TFW2005:
"A set of new officially licensed Transformers products for the 2010-2011-2012 Camaro has hit the automotive stores just in time for Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon. This time it a set of aluminum billet locking gas doors featuring the Autobot Symbol or the Transformers Logo. While this is not super news on it's own, they are the first officially licensed Transformers items for the Camaro since the 2009 Transformers Package offered by GM. So Transformers branding on the Camaro is not done quite yet."

Check out this Optimus Prime theatre display for Dark of the Moon from Winton Ray. I hope they set one up at my theatre! I would be tempted to find a way to take it home! Confirmation: Twins Not in TF3
After much speculation, I think we can finally state that the Twins will NOT be in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. This is what Michael Bay had to say on Shoot for the Edit:
After the internet posting of a nice review by someone who saw Transformers Dark of the Moon, the writer had not been clear on one thing. He misstated that the Twins are in the film. They are not.
So I am offering a $25,000 REWARD to anyone who can find them performing in Transformers 3, on July 1, when the movie opens.

MichaelUpdate: From Capone:
Hey, everyone. Just to be 100 percent clear, I'm not referring about the "The Twins" here; they are most definitely not in this film. I'm talking about Wheelie (Tom Kenny, who also voiced Skids in REVENGE OF THE FALLEN) and other similar smaller robots, who act like streetwise teenagers.

Dark of the Moon Review
Well, Capone of Ain't it Cool News is one lucky guy. He was able to see a rough cut of the whole entire movie and his review of it is great! Also, Skids and Mudflap are in the movie (Update: They are not), although very briefly. Here are some keypoints of the movie, and don't worry, there are no spoilers. Oh, and by the way, this is what Capone had to say about the film: "the third and easily best entry in the Michael Bay-directed franchise".
- The battle of Chicago runs for an hour, with not a second wasted.
- Megatron is very creepy still with part of his head missing from the final battle of Revenge of the Fallen.
- Leonard Nimoy voices Sentinel Prime to "perfection".
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley spends a lot of time in the tightest clothes imaginable. She does have a role in the film and is reckoned to be better than Megan Fox, perhaps because she has an active role to play.
- Sam's parents are barely in the film.
- Civilians die in large numbers during the Chicago battle.

DOTM Special Preview in Peru
From TFW2005:
"The hype machine for Transformers Dark of the Moon is kicking off! My friend 2005 Boards member Neo-Bombshell, along with other members of the Peruvian Transformers community and various people from Hasbro and the movie industry were treated to a special showing of 30 minutes worth of footage from Dark of the Moon. The footage naturally includes a decent amount of spoilers, so read on at your risk! Of note is just how dark the tone is - there's still some humor, but there are also scenes along the lines of showing human skulls, victims of Decepticon attack, and characters getting torn apart.
Check out Neo-Bombshell's writeup of the preview by reading on - once again, this contains heavy spoilers so stop reading here if you don't want to be spoiled on what lies in store with Dark of the Moon."

More Ellen Show Appearances
Next week, there will be FOUR Transformers DOTM stars on the Ellen Degeneres Show. On Monday, Shia Labeouf will appear. On Wednesday, it will be Patrick Dempsey. On Thursday, it will be Josh Duhamel, and on Friday it will be Ken Jeong. I am really surprised that they are being on a talk show this far away from the release of the movie, but I'm not complaining! Since part of the trailer was shown on Ellen before the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley interview, I expect that we will be getting some clips from the movie next week, because I don't think they would continuously keep showing the trailer all week.
Possible Running Time and Iridescent Release
Pathe Cinema has reported that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will have a running time of 1 hour and 49 minutes. Although, Nelson has posted on Shoot for the Edit that the movie will be "over 2 hours." I believe Nelson on this one. Also, on May 17th in the US and May 22nd in the UK, the single, Iridescent, will be available on iTunes and Amazon.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Interview
This is a video from the Ellen Degeneres Show. They did briefly talk about Transformers, but no movie clip, although, about 45 seconds of the trailer was shown.

Blue Mercedes is Wheeljack?
[Possible Spoilers]
Transformers Live Action Movie Blog has noticed on an unofficial Transformers Facebook page a possible hint that the blue Mercedes is indeed Wheeljack. The picture on the left shows a shadow of Wheeljack in the Rising Storm comic and on the right is a screenshot of possibly Wheeljack in the theatrical trailer. A similarity between the two I've noticed is the left shoulder (from your view). In the Rising Storm comics Wheeljack is badly injured and Ratchet says he can fix him but he won't be the same, so how he looks will not be the same from the comic to the movie.
UPDATE: My mistake- The comic picture is from the DOTM comic adaptation, not Rising Storm.

Transformers DOTM Comic Adaptation Preview
Amazon now has a preorder listing for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Comic Adaptation. It is due out on May 25. If you wish to see a few pages of the comic, click "search inside this book" right underneath the cover art. There are Major Spoilers according to what I have heard. I have not read the preview pages
because I don't want to spoil the movie for myself, but I was looking at the artwork and it looks amazing. I would post a couple of pages on here but they are copyrighted.
Update: The "search inside this book" link has been removed from Amazon. They probably were not allowed to show major scenes from the movie.
Update: If you want to hear a MAJOR SPOILER, and I mean MAJOR, read it after the jump.

There is also a new Autobot called Steeljaw, who is the Wreckers' pet.
