Fall of Cybertron 2014 Calendar

Coming on August 1, 2013, a Transformers Fall of Cybertron wall calendar will be released. The calendar, of course, will be for the year 2014. Check out some preview images below!

Fall of Cybertron Double XP Forever

The Fall of Cybertron Facebook page has reported that there will now be double XP forever. So now, kills will be worth 400 instead of 200 and conquest captures are now 800 rather than 400. It's great news for those of you that have abandoned multiplayer due to the bore of ranking up or for those who are deciding to go Prime. Unfortunately, this pretty much means that High Moon Studios is completely abandoning support for the game as they embark on their next project: Deadpool.

FOC Available on Xbox Live Marketplace

Fall of Cybertron is now available for digital download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This would be for those of you who don't want a physical copy of the game and just want to have it downloaded onto your hard drive. The cost is $59.99 (US).

FOC Double XP Weekend #2

To celebrate the news that Fall of Cybertron has been nominated for "Best Adaptation" at the 2012 Spike TV Video Game Awards, High Moon Studios is launching a double XP weekend (starts at 4pm PST today). This is great for those of you who want to quickly level up to Prime 100, including myself. I haven't played the game in about a month so this a good opportunity for me to finish leveling up my characters.

Making of the First FOC Trailer

For a bit of throwback FOC news, I have discovered a FOC trailer "making of" video on Digital Domain's website. The style of the video is similar to that of the ones released for Dark of the Moon and it's pretty cool looking. Check out the video by clicking here and then click the second thumbnail on the page's scroll bar.

Play FOC with High Moon Studios

This Thursday (tomorrow) at 6pm ET, High Moon Studios developers will be online playing Fall of Cybertron with Xbox Live Gold Members. Their gamertags will appear as High Moon Dev(#) and you can send friend requests to them now. Full details are on the photo below.

FOC Double XP Weekend

Getting annoyed with leveling up your Fall of Cybertron characters? Want to get to Prime Mode a little quicker? Well, if your answers are yes, then this is the weekend for you! High Moon Studios has just announced Fall of Cybertron's first double XP weekend which will begin tonight at 7pm and run through Monday until 1pm. If you don't know what double XP is, HMS will be doubling the points you get in a multiplayer match. For example, usually you receive 200 points for a kill and this weekend you will receive 400. Enjoy the double XP weekend and don't forget to watch Transformers Prime tonight on the Hub!

High Moon Studios has just released a new DLC trailer which includes the Havoc pack, Dinobot Destructor pack and Massive Fury pack. The Havoc and Dinobot packs are available for purchase now ($10 each) and the Massive Fury pack will come out later this month.

Dinobot DLC Trailer

Since the Dinobot DLC is being released tomorrow, High Moon Studios is giving us a sneak peak with this DLC trailer that also includes some Insecticons! Enjoy!

FOC Sales Numbers

Fall of Cybertron ranked 7th in video game sales in the US during the month of August, which is pretty good considering it released on the 21st. (Sales are calculated from July 29th-August 25th) A total of 105,000 copies were sold during this four day period. For the complete top 10 list, click here.

High Moon Studios has released a Fall of Cybertron app on iTunes! The app features a back story to War for Cybertron, unseen concept art, videos and news/announcements for Fall of Cybertron. The app is completely free so make sure to download it!

Fall of Cybertron DLC Packs

High Moon Studios and Activision are lining up two more DLC packs. The next one releases on September 11th and it includes the Dinobots for multiplayer. The third pack releases on September 25th and includes some Insecticons for multiplayer along with the G1 retro pack and G2 Bruticus.

The Fall is Here

Transformers Fall of Cybertron released today for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC! I've played through 8 and 1/2 of the 13 levels so far and it is absolutely amazing. I haven't been able to get to multiplayer or escalation yet, but I'll be getting to those tomorrow and I'm sure they'll be great as well.

There was also a DLC released today that includes some characters for multiplayer and escalation use, including Wheeljack.

Have fun gaming! -MV
