If you look closely at the old rig you will notice the faint traces of Optimus Prime signature flames on the face of the rig. It is clearly Optimus. Why is he in this old form?...one would suggest that being that their existance is no secrete he is using this form to move to there new base of operation hiding in plain site before he takes on his newer form. Which the public will be unfamiliar with.
