TF4: Female Lead and NASCAR Tie-In?

IGN is reporting that Michael Bay and Co. are looking for someone to play a female high school senior and her race car driver boyfriend from Texas for Transformers 4. The fact that her boyfriend is from Texas is leading IGN and others to believe that he could be a NASCAR driver. On the other hand, he could easily just be someone who races stock cars on local racetracks. This report comes from a post on SpoilerTV, which I have never heard of before, so I am uncertain as to whether it is a credible website or not.
