Greg Foster, the chairman of IMAX, has announced that Transformers 4, along with another upcoming movie, will have certain scenes that will be filmed with IMAX cameras. Revenge of the Fallen is the only other Transformers movie to be filmed in IMAX. Even though Dark of the Moon was shown in IMAX theaters, it was not actually filmed natively with those cameras, so there were black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Transformers 4 will also be filmed using Real D 3D.

Transformers 4 to be Filmed in IMAX
