Transformers DOTM has fallen to #2 worldwide in 2011 because of Harry Potter's record setting pace to $1 billion. Although Potter is on top overall, TF3 still is on top domestically, where I expect it should stay. After unofficially reaching #9 on the all time worldwide gross list yesterday, DOTM is back to #10, but that is still a great victory to be in the top 10. I'll predict that it'll find its way up to about 5th or 6th by the time it is no longer in theaters.

Potter Passes Transformers, Reaches $1 Billion
Transformers DOTM has fallen to #2 worldwide in 2011 because of Harry Potter's record setting pace to $1 billion. Although Potter is on top overall, TF3 still is on top domestically, where I expect it should stay. After unofficially reaching #9 on the all time worldwide gross list yesterday, DOTM is back to #10, but that is still a great victory to be in the top 10.
