It seems like TF3 might be pulling an Avatar. According to Mr. Bay himself, there is consideration going on about Transformers DOTM returning to IMAX. He said: "I think they are really considering re releasing Transformers on IMAX again. From what I heard from Paramount." Dark of the Moon is sitting at $1,095,540,006 as of yesterday. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King had made $1,119,110,941 during its run and it is positioned ahead of TF3 for 4th place all time. Between international sales and the extra IMAX revenue, TF3 could make it to number 4 all time. And maybe we can see some extra footage?
