Transformers vs. Harry Potter: The War Begins
With the last Harry Potter movie now in theaters, Transformers: Dark of the Moon has some competition. Already, Harry Potter has taken in $126 million dollars and it has smashed midnight showing records. A majority has come from international ticket sales. Right now, Dark of the Moon is sitting at $705,419,010 and is closing in on ROTF's total and the $1 billion mark. The question is, will Harry Potter kill DOTM's ticket sales? Only time will tell. So that means, go see Transformers: Dark of the Moon!

ReplyDeletei am going to have absolutely no involvement in this made up war, because I like both Harry Potter and Transformers. And really I think anyone who cares for it just needs to give it a rest because Michael Bay and Co and J. K. Rowling and CO aren't looking to go up against each other. i dont care whether tf3 wins or hp7 wins.
ReplyDelete@anon 9:06- 3 Things: 1. "The War Begins" was meant to be a pun. It has been in a couple of DOTM TV spots. 2. I like Harry Potter as well. I'm not a huge fan, but I enjoy the movies. 3. Believe it or not, TF and HP are going against each other in the box office. There is always going to be competition between movies in theaters. Sorry for my little rant.
